It is unrealistic and faulty policy of the government which is responsible for growing crime graph not only in Delhi but in India as whole , although we put the blame on police. To some extent police is responsible for its failure to curb crime but to a very large extent bureaucrats and politicians are responsible. It is very unfortunate that in India we boast of rule of law and equal protection of laws but in actual practice, there is no rule of law. Law is , as a matter of fact is discriminatory to the people belonging to different class of society. Recent case of sexual harassment of a law intern by a former Supreme Court Judge is a classic example of inequality before law ? I must add here that according to the Honorable Supreme court’s version in such type of sexual harassment cases onus is on the accused that the prosecutrix is wrong, but what will happen if fence itself eats up the crop ?
